recently, using this list, several people suggested boycotting a Pasadena business for stands taken on Pasadena issues that in no way effected Altadena or its trails.

In Altadena there is a local issue, that of the Monte Cedro Development on what was Scripps that has had and will continue to have a radical effect on the live and culture of Altadena. It removes the hope from all middle class and poor Altadenans of ever entering a decent rest home they can afford in this community, an issue that will prevent due to time and money ravages, their children from enjoying the trails.

There is a Pasadena business that contributes money tot he parent organization of this disaster for our community, the Episcopal Homes. That Pasadena Based business whose donations have helped destroy this Altadena institution is Mijares. I urge all Altadenans to boycott Mijares, along withn any donations, membership or affiliation with the local Episcopal Church.

Also the other local business thta contributed was none other than one Carolyn Ingram Seitz, one of thier local "fixers".
