Thanks Lori for passing on that info! My hat is off to Howard Okanoto
at the Forest Service for continuing to produce such an informative
newsletter and for including us in the last two issues as well. Also,
thanks to Guy Kuyn and George Aumann who often help us on our trail
repairs.
We have a hike to Echo Mountain planned for this Saturday morning -
meet at the stone entrance to Cobb Estate (very top of Lake Ave) at
9:30.
We canceled the hike of the 14th due to a conflict with the community
meeting planned by Supervisor Antonovich for that same day. Since we
had not yet determined the place, I assume folks will check the web
page for updates. Something may get scheduled for that weekend or the
one after... watch the site and the forum.
The Repair Day on the 28th is one we hope will be the first of one a
month, every 4th Saturday. We expect that many of our friends from the
Forest Service will be able to attend these events as well as regular
ACTRWG members and anyone who cares about trails in Altadena.
